Last week my talented friend Audrey Kawasaki was nice enough to sit for me for some portraits. I had a great time playing with her kitty, Elvis too! Here’s an outtake. Thanks Audrey!

“My little Joker for Tara McPherson’s Tiny Trifecta 2nd Annual Group show at Cotton Candy Machine boutique, NY. Artists create 3 pieces of $100 each” - @audkawa
This would be my most favored card from her deck, as far as the illustration design for The Joker character is concerned; and that boils down to my interest in prankster characters who shape shift scenarios for amusement of their twisted sense of humor. Sounds strange to say, I know, but as long as the element of manipulative villain tricksters stay living in the comic books, novels and movies I enjoy their climax of riddles and mischief before they fall defeat - because as we know good overcomes evil. As A.Kawasaki has drawn this character simple, there is also a given seductive, adorable mystic gesture. Dope!
